Schülken Form GmbH amongst the „Excellence in Production“ contest finalists
For 13 years, the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering of RWTH Aachen and the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology have presented the best of the tool making industry.
This year, 279 companies participated in different categories of the competition: Tool Maker of the Year 2016.
After a thorough examination, twelve of them were nominated by an expert team from both institutes for the final, in which the overall winner will finally be chosen.
The award ceremony is to take place on 26th October 2016 in Aachen. The coveted trophy and the associated certificate will be presented to the company in first place by last year’s winner, Audi AG Tool Making Division.
We, Schülken Form GmbH, are also taking part in this competition for the first time in the category “External Tool Maker with less than 50 employees”. After an assessment of the entire process chain by independent jurors, we are proud to be one of the 4 finalists in our category.
All finalists can count themselves amongst the best tool making companies in the German-speaking region.
